For morning coffee and afternoon tea breaks and even to buy a sandwich for lunch while we were travelling, we would stop at these big roadhouses - usually in the middle of nowhere! Constantly the temperature was around 30 degrees by mid-day. These road houses fed all travellers including the huge road trains - we'll meet them soon.
