The bus

 This is the bus that we travelled on. It is a Mercedes Benz Axor which was specially converted as a passenger vheicle. If you do a google search on MBA you find a lot of heavy working vehicles and this was no different. It was a brilliantly comfortable rdie from start to finish. It was four wheel drive which tackled the most difficult of road circumstances, including driving through flooded roads and steep, narrow tracks. Our driver, Terry, was a very experienced tour driver and delighted in taking this vehicle into the most difficult of terrains.
That's him hiding at the side of the bus. He had a great sense of hunmour and a very impressice knowledge of the history, geology and local folklore of all of the route. In all, we travelled over 6,5000km. It was a LONG trip!
